In 1956, Jiangsu Yangan Mechanical & Electronical Equipment Engineering Co.,Ltd was founded.
- In 1980, it engaged in elevator industry.
- In 1988, entered the Shenzhen market and had installed the elevator which was up 48 floors, maximum load was 5000 kg, and maximum speed was 5 m/s.
- In 2005, Jiangsu General Elevator Co., Ltd was established, as Yangan an independent subsidiary.
- In 2007, the co***ny¡¯s new office and factory was started to construct in Guangling Industrial Park of Yangzhou city, covering more than 60 acres, the area is approximate 10000 square.
- In 2008, the first elevator which applied to the new ¡°General Elevator¡± brand of permanent magnet synchronous gearless traction type was off the assembly line.
Ministry of civil affairs set up the head office ¡°Elevator installation association professional committee of China¡± in our co***ny.
- In 2009, the new office building and plant was opening, and elevator testing tower was planned to found which the design height was 80 meters. It will become the highest elevator testing tower in the North of Jiangsu.
